LOVE YOURSELF – BUT DON’T FORGET TO SIFT THE FLOUR

SIFTING THE LUMPS IN MY FLOUR –If you don’t know what sifting flour is, ask someone before continuing and hopefully it will help with the story’s meaning.

LOVE OTHERS.  LOVE YOURSELF.  SEE URSELF.  SEE OTHERS.  SIFT OUT THE LUMPS. LOVE URSELF SOME MORE.  That is kind of my “after-50 mantra” that I use to approach life with.  I thought about the loving yourself part a lot and what that consists of.  For me, I have learned that in order to do better and be better you have to start that process, by looking at ones’ self first.  And in thinking about this wisdom I have learned, I ran across what I thought was a relatable analogy thru the process of sifting flour and what the result of sifted flour looks like.   It led me to thinking how sometimes we grow into a recognition and a desire to want to be a better person and that is definitely ok and natural.

Most everyone has an understanding that no one is perfect (our lumps or imperfections) and that we can never reach perfection in a real sense, however, ensuring you have your personal “growth light” on and pointed in a positive direction, is important and at the center of loving oneself, I believe, and have learned and observed that thru life’s travels and the wisdom it has presented…  How can I be better?  A question that sometimes comes for you as you grow.   Within that question rises the “lumps and flour” analogy.  The reality is that we all (you, me, us) may need to ‘sift’ some things.  I’m just saying…

As most of us know who either dib and dab around the kitchen or are supreme experts in the kitchen, we know that sifted flour is better versus lumpy flour in most cases and presents similar results to what working on our own ‘personal lumps’ does for us.

As a start, It promotes consistency (for dealing with life and others), it removes particles that could result in a negative outcome (for you) and it overall helps with the whole mix (of you), within your pursuit for success in life.

Seeing that man or woman in the mirror and giving them positive attention is vital for personal growth.  LOVE OTHERS.  LOVE YOURSELF.  SEE URSELF.  SEE OTHERS.  LOVE URSELF SOME MORE and always remember to SIFT OUT THE LUMPS.

One Love.
