LOVE LIKE MOM (AND DAD)

jcmor83 – Gen-Xer:

A Mother’s Love.  Unmatched no doubt.  I usually use two simple things we can all reference easily to make this point and that is #1 when you hear, “Hi Mom” versus “Hi Dad” when you see athletes on TV as well as, #2 that is really #1, the Mother’s Day versus Father’s Day celebrations and acknowledgements.

Now, not myself or anyone else I know (male or female) argue the point of Mother’s Day and Moms being celebrated is on top, because my belief based on many permanent reasons is that it is and always will be.

The point here is to crown great Queens as queens and as great mothers, but also to highlight the good Dad’s that also follow this mantra of “Love like Moms”, and we’re here, loving, but just sometimes different.  Neither mother’s or father’s and the process of parenting are perfect people or is a perfect process.  This is definitely NOT a pick a side argument, but more of a think on it article.  With LOVE at the lead.

Times have changed, re-exanimating both sides of the coins from “child-rearing” to “child-growing” standpoint are both areas being discussed more and more, but whatever the situation or case may be still remember the good parts of “Love like Mom (AND Dad).”

“When I look back now on those kitchen table talks and actions, I realize that every morsel and ounce of energy contained LOVE inside, outside and thruout.  Applies to both (parents), just may be different.  Learning to appreciate them in both forms is growth.  But again, this point is made because of…”A Mother’s Love”.

When mom or dad (grands and guardians count too) gave you your most memorable piece of advice, do you recall where the delivery of that wisdom was?  Mine was at the kitchen table OR on a drive, so I could not find a way out.  lol.  I am thankful for every morsel.  I should have embraced it sooner, but it is never too late to see the light in their wisdom.
